Since 2014, we have worked to ease the toll that cancer takes on children and their families.
Our Story
Strong Little Souls was founded in 2014 by Madison Quinn with a mission to brighten the days of children bravely fighting cancer. What began as an effort to send toy-filled care packages to young patients quickly grew into a broader support system for families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis.
As the organization expanded, Strong Little Souls introduced additional programs to better serve the childhood cancer community, including financial assistance and the SLS Wish Program—both designed to provide meaningful relief and moments of joy during incredibly difficult times.
Since its founding, Strong Little Souls has sent thousands of customized toy-filled care packages, granted hundreds of special wishes, and provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancer. Through the continued support of our community, we remain committed to bringing comfort, hope, and support to children and families when they need it most.
Our Founder
At just 13 years old, Madison Quinn came across a support page for a young girl born with a rare form of pediatric cancer. Feeling called to help, she reached out to the girl’s family and offered to send a care package—personally funding it out of her own pocket.
After sending a few care packages, it quickly became clear that what started as a small act of kindness was growing into something much bigger.
Today, Quinn leads Strong Little Souls while also working as a pediatric nurse—a career inspired by the incredible children and families she met through her work with the organization. Strong Little Souls is more than just a nonprofit that provides support and moves on. Quinn has built countless meaningful, lifelong connections with the families she serves, creating a community rooted in compassion, support, and hope.
