Care Packages

Strong Little Souls began with our signature Care Package Program, created to bring moments of joy to children battling cancer. Each package is thoughtfully and individually tailored to the child, filled with toys, activities, and items chosen just for them.

The goal is simple but powerful: to give children something to look forward to and help them focus on being kids, even in the middle of a difficult cancer journey.

Eligibility:

Initial cancer diagnosis before the age of 21
Located within the U.S.
Child must been within 2 years of active treatment

Our First Care Package

In 2014, we sent out our very first care packages.

One of those early packages went to a young boy who had just been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Inside was a coloring book, some Play-Doh, and a Batman action figure—his favorite superhero. The boy removed Batman’s wings and carried them with him to every clinic visit, every LP, every lab draw. His mother would send photos of him confidently walking into the hospital, wings in hand, ready to face the day.

It was in that moment that our founder, Madison, realized something profound: toys aren’t just toys for a child battling cancer. They can be a source of comfort, a welcome distraction, and a spark of joy in the hardest moments.

Since then, Strong Little Souls has sent thousands of toy-filled care packages to children in every state across the U.S., spreading smiles and support to families when they need it most.
